CURRENT MISSION

I was teaching English in South Korea for a year and I am now making the long journey home to the states----down through SE Asia with some friends and onto Australia on my own. I want to meet amazing, fun people from everywhere I go!

I am an enthusiastic traveler and learner. I devour books and I love hearing about other people's world experiences. I enjoy good conversation but I am also perfectly content to sit quietly in the corner with a book.
I come from a very small town in Colorado that I can't wait to see again just as soon as I can...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My roommates and I had some couchsurfers in university and I loved meeting people from all over the place. Australia would be my first time surfing.

Oh wow---- I enjoy everything from Snatch to Pitch Perfect to Pretty Woman to The Bourne Identity to Boondock Saints. Norah Jones to Skrillex to the Dixie Chicks.
Right now I am reading Exodus- a novel about the founding of the state of Israel.

I recently spent two days at the Elephant Nature Park in Chiang Mai, Thailand with rescued elephants. Learning about the struggles that Asian elephants face and seeing the difference that one woman has made by starting her sanctuary was truly awe-inspiring.

I speak French fluently, I am a decent baker, and I am good with my hands. My dad is a Renaissance man so I grew up mending fence and helping to build new portions of our house.
