Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have very little couch surfing experience, but I am looking forward to building my rapport and gaining new friends within this community :)
Interests
I love to travel - Much of the little travel I've done has been by myself, and I wouldn't have had it any other way. Traveling alone has allowed me to learn a lot about myself and become better acquainted with the cities and countries I've visited.
I love the outdoors - I worked as an outdoor trip leader taking people on adventures to various places around southern California. Kayaking, camping the backcountry, canyonerring, zip lining and rock climbing are a few things I feel comfortable doing but there are a lot of outdoor activities I am excited to still explore.
I enjoy conversation - I love listening to people talk about what they are passionate about. I also enjoy listening to older folks tell me stories about their life experiences and how their lives looked during pivotal moments in history. I enjoy sharing my thoughts about my own experiences, and ideas on how to positively influence the world around me. I'll talk to anyone who is willing to talk and listen to me. My favorite topics are culture, history, social justice, environment, anthropology, and sociology.
On top of the above, I love architecture, interior design, and environmental friendly living. One day, I hope to build my own "tiny home", travel around the USA, and interview people from different demographics all over the country. Until then, I am working towards a Master's in Urban Education and using my love of people and passion for social justice to teach in urban cities.
Life is a constant lesson and I have a lot to learn.

Music, Movies, and Books
I have a very eclectic taste in music. But for the most part I love downtempo instrumentals, and music with conscious lyrics. If there's a live local band or artist playing in your town, I'm in it. Anything live is great.
I enjoy all types of movies, but I prefer comedies and documentaries. I want to use my brain capacity by being entertained through humor or interesting ideas.
I don't have much time for reading books, or maybe I don't make time for it, but either way, when I do.... I enjoy non-fiction, and self help.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Free climbed outside the top floor terrace of a hostel in Sevilla, Spain -I'd NEVER do it again... But it was an awesome experience
