About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To take it all in: tastes, viewpoints, people, traditions, and good vibes.
ABOUT ME
I'm outgoing, fun-loving, and always ready for an adventure! I'm very energetic, patient, and considerate of others - I like to make sure everyone's comfortable and having a good time. I am fiercely loyal to those I hold dear, and thrive on learning about others, their life and stories, and the world.
PHILOSOPHY
The only hard and true fact I know, is that we constantly grow and learn throughout life. So far, I've done a pretty good job of thoroughly enjoying every bit of it, as well as the people who make it all the more wonderful.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I am a willing participant in any adventure. Let's do this.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have been so amazed by the genuine kindness and generosity of others... I only hope I can provide the same warmth in return!
Interests
I really enjoy being involved in several activities at once; I love being outside, playing volleyball, going for long walks, finding new or off-the-wall places, and learning (whether in a museum or from individual stories). In my down time, I LOVE to cook and sip on a beer, cocktail, or glass of red wine.

Music, Movies, and Books
Coming from the "Life Music Capital of the World" (Austin, TX), I love music and find something admirable in any kind. I personally listen to indie, alternative, hard rock, classic rock, dubstep, hip hop, country when the time is right... everything. I'm a movie person, but I prefer watching ones that make me think or leave me wanting more.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Dresden, 2007, Dresdener Frauenkirche. I have a special passion for cathedrals, and being able to see this once shattered piece of faith and beauty rebuilt from its rubble.... it was like nothing I've ever experienced. Conversely, in my hometown of Austin, TX, I watched the demolition of the original University Natural Science Building while speaking with a professor who had been teaching in that building since its existence. Truly touching to hear someone's farewell as they watched their home be torn apart.
Teach, Learn, Share
I have openness, ideas, and enthusiasm as a foundation... let's build from there.
