ABOUT ME
I'm a college student studying publishing and journalism with a passion for music and exploring my own neighborhood and the rest of the world!
PHILOSOPHY
I just try to live my life as honestly as possible: honest with myself, with those I love, and with everyone around me. I think we lose ourselves in the day to day which is what I'm constantly trying to fight. There's so much to see and experience and learn from and I really try to constantly grow who I am.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm here to meet interesting people! I try to travel to new places as often as possible and couchsurfing makes that MUCH easier. Not looking to use this site as a dating service, etc.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Couchsurfed in Bristol and Belfast, both great experiences. It's an amazing opportunity to see a city from a local's point of view, which I'm learning is the ONLY way to see a city.
Interests
I love to explore, read, and go to concerts. Napping is great but strong coffee is better. I want to try your city's best coffee. Also pubs. And cheese.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: Indie rock, folk, roots/roots revival, 60's, 70's, everything really. I live for a good throwback, no matter what the genre. Music is a huge part of my life and my drive, and while I really can't play it, everything I do seems to revolve around it! I love going to shows, especially if they result in discovering some new artists!
Authors: Joan Didion, Zadie Smith, Chuck Klosterman, Nick Hornby, Sherman Alexie, Junot Diaz, etc etc etc classics etc
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Turning the corner on my first full day in Rome, nearly lost, and stumbling onto the Trevi Fountain.
Every time I visit the home of a local in Cancun (family friends gathered over decades of vacations with my family), I'm moved by their happiness. A happiness to be hosting "family," to share their world, to open their doors and despite the material objects we deem "necessary."
