About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Update in 02/2016: I'm now on my half-year around-the-world trip. Started from Singapore, I went to the states and Mexico for one month and then traveled in South Korea for two week. I'm now celebrating Chinese New Year with family in China, and I will soon start my journey again after CNY. My next destinations would be middle east, North Korea, South America, Europe and Australia. Hope I can complete the journey safely:D

ABOUT ME

I was born in 1993 in China. I study in a university in Singapore, and now I'm an exchange student in Munich! I wanna have a different and special life, but I still got no idea about how to live differently:P. I like to meet people from different culture, different places, and I'd like to make friends with everyone with different background.

Social life really makes me happy and excited. Sometimes I might be a little shy at the beginning, but I'll be excited if I get the right tempo and atmosphere, and a little beer!:D Really bad at drinking alcohol, my face will immediately turn red once I drinking alcohol, but I definitely love beer here in Munich!

I love to discover new things, and I have a lot of crazy ideas but don't even know how to start them. I have bad procrastination and I always sleep very late. I love Bayern München! I love Deutschland football team!! That's why I exchange here in Munich!

PHILOSOPHY

Do the crazy things cause we won't be young again!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I was introduced to this last year when I travelled in Italy in 2013. Somehow I joined the Couchsurfing 'family' in 2014 in Munich when I was an exchange student over there. This community definitely changed me a lot. Through it, I have met so many cool people and let me realize that wow, one's life could be so much fun and there are so many possibilities within one's life. In 2014, I have used Couchsurfing intensively when I travelled around Europe, and I also hosted several cool guys around the world in my little dormitory room.

Now I'm on my trip again, I hope to meet more cool people to let me know how awesome our world is.

Interests

Update in 02/2016:
I love illustration design, logo design and calligraphy. I can sit in front lf the monitor for a whole day to do a little design for my own interest. But I'm still a newbie in this field.

I'm currently doing my own project, named 'destination anywhere'. Basically through this project, I want to make minimalism illustration designs for hundreds of cities I have ever been to in my life. So far I have completed some of them and the result was not bad haha.

Update in 05/2014:
I love cooking because I really love eating. I even went to a cooking school before. Unfortunately, German don't use fire for cooking, so it turns out to be hard for me to make a delicious dish. One of my dream job in the future is cook and have my own restaurant which offering Italian food and French dessert!

I love special effect makeup, but I haven't done anything in practical until now. I feel so excited when I see how those artists make up the models with those crazy ideas. I like to watch "face off". Becoming a special effect makeup artist is also my dream job, but it seems really hard. :(

Music, Movies, and Books

My favourite movie is Titanic.
I learned playing the piano for seven years, and I really hated playing the piano at that time! My favourite piece of piano music is Croatian Rhapsody by Maksim. My favourite band is Maroon 5!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Update in 02/2016
Haven't updated my profile for a while. I have to say I have done several crazy things in the past two years since last time I updated my profile.

In 2015, I completed the highest bungee jump in the world in Macau and got the Guinness record for it. And I have done the world's highest sky jump in Las Vegas, which was over 250 meters high.

I'm now an active runner though I'm not strong. I have done several half Marathons in Singapore in the past two years, one was done in the midnight lol. My next Marathon would be Pyongyang Marathon in the coming April!! It would definitely be one of the most special memory of my life ever. After that, I will participate in the Lima Marathon in Peru in the coming May.

Update in 05/2014: I plan to do a lot of crazy and amazing things, but currently I think what I have done are not crazy enough!

I travelled in Italy for one month by myself last year. it was a really unforgettable memory for me. I didn't know couch surfing at that time, otherwise it would be much more interesting. I love Italian food. I love Italian food, especially love carbonara! I've tried carbonara in every single European city I've ever been to. The one in a Venice gorgeous restaurant is my favourite until now, I can't forget how gorgeous it tasted!!!

I'm now trying to collect the Starbucks Mugs around the world. I'll buy one local Starbucks mug when I travel to a new city if I remember, although I always forget it.

Waiting 9 hours in Time's Square for the 2013's new year's eve, and we waited 6 hours to celebrate the 2014's new year's eve under London eye. Not sure if it's crazy enough, but they were so memorable!

I want to go bungee in Macau and get the Guinness World Record in this year. This gonna be the most amazing thing I've done.
