About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Don't forget the sunscreen. I'm working a billion hours during the week. I hope to possibly host nice people around the weekends if I'm feeling up to it.

ABOUT ME

Witty on a good day with dry sense of humor.

PHILOSOPHY

Trying not to worry about it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm finally living on my own and can host once in a while. I wish I had more opportunities to travel and CS just makes traveling alone into a transcendent experience sometimes!

Right now, I'm hoping to get more involved in the CS community in Madrid. Hopefully to make new friends and the chance to get to know more like-minded people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first summer in Europe I decided I would give couchsurfing a try... I was terrified. I figured no one would answer me or it might be awkward... in the end that couldn´t have been more wrong and I had the time of my life and I´m sure my lovely hosts had a good time too!

Since then I´ve traveled more and when I found myself back home in the Napa Valley I took the opportunity to host surfers myself. It brought new life to my home town with the company of surfers.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Rock n' Roll, classical guitar, Django Reinhardt, Bob Dylan, Neil Young, Hendrix, Jazz, Pop, Folk music of any kind, and lots more.

My musical tastes are rather outdated so please share your new and current music with me. I need to expand what I'm usually listening to!

Books: No thanks to my attention span of the 2020's, I am usually working my way through some novel or non-fiction work. Some old favorites might be by Herman Hesse, Joseph Conrad, Fitzgerald and George Orwell

Movies: The Lord of the Rings

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Couchsurfing. I've met a lot of incredible people, learned a lot about myself, made friends and have shared unforgettable moments thanks to CS!

Teach, Learn, Share

I love to learn and share recipes from the places I am visiting. If you like to cook I'm sure we can learn a lot from each other!

If you play guitar or music in general I will try my best ;)

What I Can Share with Hosts

Good company, genuine conversations, music... if you have a guitar, and a meal if you trust my cooking!
