Hi, hola, ciao, olá, salut, ahoj!

I'm a British student with a love for travelling, languages and meeting new people.

Before uni I spent nearly a year living in Madrid and from then on I've wanted to spend as much time as possible abroad! I met so many people from different places and loved finding out about other people and their culture.

Last year I studied abroad in Italy and in Portugal and now I'm looking for my next chance to live abroad for a while!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think Couchsurfing seems like a brilliant way to meet likeminded people who love travelling and learning about people from all over the world!

I joined Couchsurfing a few years ago but I am yet to have an experience with it. However, I am coming to Prague to learn some Czech in August 2018 and I hope to try it out for the first time then!

Interests

I love so many things:

Sport is great, I enjoy playing football, tennis and cycling.

Music (indie/rock/dance/world/classical/pretty much anything else!)

Languages (I learnt Spanish at school before living in Madrid and since have had the chance to learn some Italian before moving to Italy and some Portuguese in Lisbon!

This year I have been studying French but in August I plan on going to Prague to learn some Czech!

Music, Movies, and Books

MUSIC
I love going to gigs and festivals and some of my favourite bands that I've seen would be: Radiohead, Blur, Oasis, The Stone Roses, Pulp, Foals, HAIM, The Maccabees, Bombay Bicycle Club, Foo Fighters, Muse, Biffy Clyro, Eminem, and Justice.
On the other hand, listing to Chopin, Mendelssohn and Debussy and Ravel is hard to beat.

MOVIES
Whiplash, Cinema Paradiso, Life of Brian, Inglorious Basterds, Pan's Labyrinth, A Beautiful Mind, Trainspotting, No Country for Old Men, Catch Me If You Can.

BOOKS
I should read more. But, To Kill a Mockingbird left a big impression on me. Otherwise I love reading history books.
