About Me

CURRENT MISSION
I would love to communicate a message of hope, love, peace and freedom through Art. I would like to contribute in the healing of the world and human consciousness.

ABOUT ME
I`m a wacky mexican guy who has sort of two sides...

A childish artistic side that loves art, movies, short films, specially animated ones, documentaries, children books, cartoons, making jokes and laughing!

And a deeper side who is in love with integral philosophy, spirituality, meditation, long interesting talks and everything that points to a transcendental path.

So, I'm a child-like man playing with the beautiful intricate patterns that govern the universe :)

PHILOSOPHY
I believe the quest for happiness to be a universal mechanism embedded in every human being as a way to transcend.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

That would have to be Meditation, there´s my life before meditation and after meditation. Some years ago I took the first of many 10 days Vipassana Meditation retreats, and it´s just totally the greatest gift that I´ve gotten from life.

Meditation gives you a chance to contemplate and learn from the universal laws of nature that operate equally outside and inside the body.

I guess the greatest thing that I´ve learned from that is that the only permanent condition in the universe is impermanence, everything is changing, constantly changing, so there is no sense in reacting with craving or aversion to whatever we experience in life because of it's ephemeral quality

Better is to enjoy, accept, learn and allow the present moment to be as it is, that is, not as we would like it to be, but as it is. Of course striving to thrive but without caring about the outcome.

THAAAT aaand well, life is full of great and crazy experiences, but I could mention a couple more...

- I'm a Dad of a wonderful AMAZING 7 years old beautiful lil dude, you can find an album of him in my Photos
- I went to Burning man 2013 and had an absolute blast!
- I went to the Time and Space Festival to celebrate the end of the old world and the beginning of the new one Dec, 21st 2012
- I love raves and big parties and I've danced from dusk till dawn at many wonderful places, craters, jungle, desert, forest, beach, you name it!
- I backpacked Europe for 6 months when I was 17
- I`ve been a SCUBA Diver since I was 7 years old and can tell some sea stories JARRR
- I learned character animation from some of the greatest animators in the world =)

Please tell me why you feel that we would have a good connection too.

Teach, Learn, Share

Ok... I`m a 3D Character Animator, I LOOOOVE animation, I believe it is a wonderful art that integrates a lot of arts into one.

To animate one should know a bit (or a lot) about acting, body mechanics, motion principles, staging, photography, cinematography, character design, psychology of emotion and thought, storytelling, film editing, graphic design and cool stuff like that so if you are interested in any, I LOVE IT ALL!!!

I actually taught a bit of animation to one couchsurfer and she did some pretty cool stuff that I thought was incredibly fresh and fun =)

I`m also a SCUBA Diving instructor, I`ve been diving since I was 7 thanks to my dad.

And if anyone wants to learn juggling we could try.
=)
