Hello friendly people!
My name is Alex, I'm 20 and currently spending a year in Nicaragua for national service.

I love learning new things and never wanna stop collecting experiences, good stories and knowledge.
Main issue of me is probably that I can't do one certain thing for too long cause I get distracted and excited for other stuff too easily :)
Music is a thing I need every single day though. I don't like watching TV too much. And yes, admittedly I'm a little geek too.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At the moment I am living with a family in Nicaragua. If its really urgent I can somehow organize a couch for 1-2 nights I guess.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

had my first couchsurfing experience in Miami, July 2012 and enjoyed it very much!

traveling, obviously; also all aspects of music, concerts, photography, geek-stuff , partying, sports (soccer, volleyball, watersports), to cover the basics.

I get easily excited for almost everything but doing the dishes.

main genres are indie, rock, blues-rock, DnB, Dubstep, liquid, funky- and jazzy stuff, rap; (plus combinations of those).

Bands i currently listen to a lot: Arctic Monkeys, The Kooks, SomethingALaMode, The Black Keys, Jack White...

but if it sounds good, it is good, no matter what genre it is.

Basically every trip I made.

Probably one of most exciting situations was swimming in a lake on top of a vulcano on the island Ometepe in Nicaragua, last summer.
