About Me

New edition:

I just moved into my own space after years of sharing and begging people I live with to host people - I find pleasure to create experiences for people, and that's why answering "about me" sums up at - I am a storyteller. ATM I tell about Vikings and history, precisely how twisted it can be. I had the most intense year in my life, I am sensitive human being longing for meaningful connections. Safe haven for solo travelers and suckered for helping others. Everything under this text is past, some relevant and some not. I am me, without pretending, trying to be as authentic as possible.. you are welcome to dive into my world!

As years pass by, answering a question "tell me about yourself" becomes harder and harder, and it takes longer and longer. I have begun traveling many many years ago and I just finished 9 years cycle that consisted of living in Spain for 4 years and then in South America for 5 years. It was a beautiful experience that started with aimless trip down South - West and concluded with 105 days long adventure by land and sea from Peru till Sweden.

At this stage where I stand I can say that every time I surprise myself more and more by discovering who I really am. In general terms, as for profession and dedication, I have made my path from living on farm to crossing Atlantic ocean on Tankership (i made over 30 000 nautical miles). From bartender and waiter and hotel receptionist to birthday party host for kids and tour guide. From modeling in Spain to acting in Colombia. From selling clothes to make a natural medicines. Now I like to write a blog that suppose to be a travelblog, but it is more focused on spirituality, I think. It just speaks through my traveling experience, but it is focused on evolution process I went and I am going through. I have proved my skills as a tourguide and my goal is to become a wilderness guide in North.. like really North!!!

I play a bit Ukelele, and I am friends with all the dogs in the world.

I practice Vegetarian diet, yoga, meditation, train physically and try to grow at least a little bit every day. I have reached 180cm now :D

If it's of relevance, we are not vaccinated though we do not believe in division, thus you are welcome as you are!

Are you a Magic: The Gathering player? Hit me up, I have plenty of decks and love to play Commander!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing, after all these years, have given me amazing experiences around the world. I mostly like to host people, so I am working towards a new goal in my life - having a house in the woods, that will have open doors for those who seek to rest. During my travels, I was hosted by so many amazing people and communities, that just being part of CS makes me feel that I belong to the family of those who give, and it is the philosophy of my life: giving, sharing, helping...

Interests

My interests are vast. But overall I am all about expanding my field of experience of life. Trying new things all the time and setting personal goals to achieve.

Music, Movies, and Books

I grew up on books, classic writers, a lot of fantasy books, Russian writers. Nowadays I focus on books with spiritual context and occult knowledge.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I made free walking tour in Lima, Peru into the traditional but spicy district of Lima, and although nobody ever heard of that destination and locals would repeat how dangerous it is, in under 12 months it became a #8 from 177 outdoor activities in Lima on Tripadvisor, becoming a trending activity and actually changing the district from within... it is a year of dedication that will stay for always in my heart...
