ABOUT ME
Since I was born I was destined to become a traveller and a friend to people all over the world. I was raised as a Mexican and as a German at the same time and in both countries. I´ve been studying in Spain for 3 years now, and I finished an exchange in Australia. All this experience in different places has provided me a great understanding of the cultural differences that might exist between me and people from other places.
I´m someone concerned about the people and the world, about cultural and environmental issues and changes in these times and looking for justice and peace. I consider myself an open-minded, peaceful, active, honest and respectful person who is trying to find a path in life.
PHILOSOPHY
No regrets.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
No matter if surfing or hosting, I always try to listen to the stories that people want to tell me and to tell them stories I´ve got. I like smiling to people and making the CS-experience with me a positive one.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Once I said "yes" to a CouchSurfer who wanted to come to Granada and, for my surprise, not less than 6 people showed up! As I lived in a very small appartment, I decided to host them on the roof. It was summer, and apparently there couldn´t have been anything better-they loved it up there.
The funny thing about it was that after they left, some alarmed neighbours knocked on my door to ask me if I knew anything about some hobos who had slept on the roof, because such a thing was "strictly forbidden". I had to keep my laughter and replied "No, of course not!". Some days later, they changed all the locks of the building!
Interests
I´m interested in almost everything. I study environmental sciences, which envolves almost any possible subject: from all kinds of natural sciences to Law, Sociology, Economy or Psychology. Although I don´t have all the knowledge about everything, I love nature and sports, culture, history, music, phylosophy, literature, travelling, parties, meeting people, interesting conversations...

Music, Movies, and Books
I definitely prefer reading rather than watching TV. I love many Spanish speaking authors, as well as José Saramago, Tolkien, Coelho, etc. I also enjoy interesting science books. I love documentaries, but sometimes I´m not on the right mood and I prefer action movies. Worst movie I´ve watched: Apocalypto
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Once I asked myself what it would feel like to be a bird and be able to fly in all directions. I never thought I would feel that, but Scuba diving gave me that feeling of freedom and of being able to move above the ground and in all directions!
