As a math tutor, I often observe struggles with problem-solving. Those struggles often originate from the perception that the problem is more difficult than it really is. Once you fully grasp the problem, the solution will come easily.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Although this is my first time signing up with this website, I am experienced surfing on the couches of fellow musicians nationwide! Every year during the Folklife Festival in Seattle, Washington, I stay at the home of musicians in various parts of Seattle, usually along with my band mates (although they are usually kind of far away from downtown!). I have also been house guests to friends, acquaintances and musicians in Oregon, California, New York, Nevada, New Mexico, Illinois, Idaho and Hawai'i.

I always make it a point to bring something to share with my hosts, whether it is music, food or conversation. Once, while staying with musicians, one member of the household hired me for a spontaneous recording session for his self-produced album! I try to leave my spaces as clean, or cleaner than I found them, and to bring as many of my amenities as I will need. I love sharing my traveling experience with others, and I'm especially grateful when my host will show me around a little! Usually, as a musician, I will leave early and be off on my musical purpose, so my visits tend to be fleeting, but always warm and friendly.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

Balkan folk music from Macedonia, Serbia, Bulgaria, Greece, Turkey, Thrace, Romania, Albania, etc. I also enjoy Latin music, classical, jazz, gypsy-stuff, and usually what pops up on the Gotye or Of Monsters and Men Pandora stations. I often search out science fiction and fantasy novels, or non-fiction. I go see all the sci-fi/action movies.
