About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Make friends from all over the world, eventually show them my turf in California, become an expert in WINE and and learn more SPANISH!
I'm studying to become a sommelier, and trying to see all of the wine areas of the world!
ABOUT ME
Half the year I lead 8 day bicycle trips. This job has taken me to over 10 countries and I've been fortunate enough to lead trips in; Czech Republic, Austria, Netherlands, Canada, New York, Montana and California. The other half of the year I work is Aspen, Colorado and Ski as much as possible!
My friends and I yearn for adventure. In college, 10 friends and I bought a short school bus previously owned by a Canadian chicken farmer for 20 years, and what better way to break that bus in than to take a roadtrip from Santa Barbara CA up north to Vancouver, Canada.
I'm usually bicycle touring, but sometimes I take the highroad and buy a plane ticket.
My bicycle tours I've completed:
Vancouver, Canada ---> Tijuana Mexico 3500 km
Los Angelos, USA ----> Cabo San Lucas, Mexico 1800 km
Cesky Krumlov, Czech republic ----> Copenhagen Denmark 1200 km

Music, Movies, and Books
I've recently finished reading the Game of Thrones books which are my favorite books. I dabble in all movies and music!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I flew to Vancouver, bought a bicycle and a tent, and cycled down to Tijuana (2,000 miles), all alone, and I had never set up a tent before. That was quite an adventure! last year I finished another bicycle tour from Southern California, down to Cabo San Lucas (1100 miles) where sometimes we had 100 kilometers between towns. Also I just recently finished a bicycle tour from Cesky Krumlov, Czech Republic to Copenhagen, Denmark. What a blast!
I visited Japan in college and decided to sleep outside the entire trip. Some 5 star "outdoor" resorts include: a park along a river in Hiroshima, Sandbaths in Kyuushu (awesome!) bushes next to the imperial palace, and an office building in roppongi (that was sketchy) I wish I knew about couchsurfing then haha but it was fun!
