About Me

I don't know how to change my default photo. I'm much hairier now haha

CURRENT MISSION

to travel, meet interesting people, be spontaneous, and have a good time

ABOUT ME

I am lighthearted, adventurous and spontaneous. I think that in order to really see a place you have to stay away from the tourist spots and really see how people there live.

I love meeting and experiencing new people and things. I'm a very open minded person. I'd really like to live a life without habit and repetition. I have a constant thirst for new things.

PHILOSOPHY

I think our experiences shape us. Living a completely reserved and comfortable life is wasting the life you're given.

I beleive in sponteneity and random chance. i enjoy unpredictability.

I hear and I forget
I see and I remember
I experience and I understand

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've couch surfed a few times, It's always awesome. I love to share my experiences with others as well as hear about theirs. I haven't hosted yet, but hopefully when I'm in a more stable living situation I'll ba abe to!

I also like to trade books. It leads to me reading things I normally wouldn't have otherwise.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I couch surfed for three days in london. great experience. i wasnt able to find a couch beforehand and decided to wing it. best choice i could have made. i found a host at a couch surfing meeting and had the time of my life in london.

Since then I've surfed in Canada and Spain. always an awesome time.

I hope to gain life experience and better understanding of people through my journeys. life's just beginning!

Interests

Local music, fun and odd people, awkward silences, high highs and low lows, good beers, good times, hacking things, having fun in weird ways. I also make books by hand. Ask me about it, I'll show you one.

My music taste is all over the place. I enjoy most genres with very few exceptions, for the most part i love metal and hardcore, anything that has some art to it.

there are too many movies. ask me in person.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I would have to say my first couchsurfing experience was pretty amazing. i tried in vein to get a host for my london/edinburgh trip. london is a popular city in general, especially during the summer. i knew i was coming to london on the day of a couchsurfing meeting, so i got to london, not knowing where i was going to stay, and found a great host at the meeting. london was great from then on out. its a great city to give yourself a walking tour of. better than i could have asked for.

Teach, Learn, Share
