Overview
About Me
I'm 25 going through a very intense personal growth moment. I come from a bit of a toxic place where I was living in Spain where I became quite an introvert and shy person only focused on cars. That changed when I moved to Oxford in the UK, where I knew no one and had to push myself to meet friends and adapt to a completely different culture and vibes. After one year of growth on that side, I met my (now) ex-girlfriend and started an open relationship with her. I've always liked reading philosophy and the mix of reading philosophy and having an open relationship and applying some concepts to my own life made me learn and grow to a point and at a pace I didn't expect.
Fast-forward to now I'm all about connection, creating meaningful connections with every person I can, I love meeting new people more than probably anything in the world (which is the thing I was most scared of in the past). Exploring everything this world and life has to offer, exploring different types of connections, exploring places, solo o with people, exploring alternated states of consciousness through practices like meditation, breathwork, yoga, dance... I'm all for exploring and discovering whatever good or bad life has to offer.
Setting myself goals and pushing through, out of my comfort, zone is what keeps me moving!
So if I have to summarize I would say I'm a very outgoing person, I don't consider myself reserved, love to talk with everyone about everything, love to socialize, but at the same time, I'm still having that inner more reserved child so sometimes I just need some time by myself and enjoy myself and silence.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
In the latest times, I've been pushing myself out of my comfort zone by travelling solo to different cities, going to clubs or places and trying to make friends... and all that has turned out to be the most amazing times I've had in a while. Therefore, that has motivated me to push even further on my limits and jump to the next stage. For me going to sleep at someone's house I don't even know where I don't know what I'm going to face and how is that experience going to really give me a lot of anxiety, and that's exactly why I want to do it. Because I know I could just rent a hotel and chill for a few days without worries but I feel I would be missing so much! And of course, if it's on a platform like this with a lot of like-minded people doesn't feel so wrong.

Music, Movies, and Books
I guess it depends on the mood I am but to try to summarize... "RedHotChiliPeppers" is my favourite band from literally all my life. "Dani California" is the very first song I have a memory of listening to. I also like electronic a lot. "Fred again.." is one of my favourite electronic music producers. And a less known group is called "Orbit". I discovered these guys more than one year ago, super small group, and they literally changed my life. I listening to them in whichever situation I am. Apart from that I like every type of music, Jazz, soul, blues, pop, rap, rock, reggae...
I don't have any favourite movie but I like literally every type. I enjoy a lot the psychological thrillers where you end up not knowing what happened and with an odd sensation. But I love from the scariest ones to the thrillers, the action ones, heavy war ones, even the most stupid funny ones like Ali G.
And about books my heart is divided between pure science like Stephen Hawking's ones or Neuroscience to more Pseudo-science ones like the ones that connect ancient practices to modern science, philosophy of all kinds from the stoics to absurdism and just pure novels, I don't particularly enjoy fantasy or romanticism but at the same time I like when a novel has some of them in it.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I think people expect you to put here something like "saving a cat from falling out of a window with a rope and a bucket" but sorry, for good or bad I haven't had the opportunity to live something like that hahaha. What I can say about myself I guess is overcoming trauma, illness, and a lot of anxiety, with the best mindset possible. A few examples are my mom's cancer, myself being kidnapped for a day, and having to spend almost 2 months literally eating 1 piece of bread per day due to a heavy illness... And in every one of those cases, I still kept an incredibly positive attitude and didn't let myself down. And just if you're concerned everything is solved now and I'm completely good and happy :)
Teach, Learn, Share
I love to know about literally everything precisely to share it with others. I can share and exchange opinions about any topic but my favs are AI (as it's my work and now with ChatGPT looks like everybody is interested haha), about human psychology and neurology (I have a couple of certifications in psychology and none in neurology but I've read a lot about it), in general about consciousness exploration, about music (I play a bit of piano, ukelele and I'm learning to play the handpan), but... I don't know, literally about anything haha
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share a friendly and hopefully fun experience. Even transformative for both of us. I can share some organisation and efficiency tips (I'm a nerd about this). I can cook some Spanish or Asian dishes (I've been to classes). And definitely, I can share the best vibes and a very good time!
