ABOUT ME

Travel used to be my obsession, then turned into my full time job. I quit to go back to school and now travel is more a reward I give myself every once in a while.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I "unofficially" couchsurf every time I visit friends all over the country, but never have CouchSurfed by meeting people online. It's scary and exciting, but sounds super fun.

Interests

I love to do anything from chilling on the couch playing videogames and watching movies to going camping and canoeing. Fishing is fun until my A.D.D. gets the best of me. Maybe that's why I've never caught a fish before. I like to cook, but prefer to eat!

Music, Movies, and Books

Love action movies! Especially martial arts and sci-fi movies.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Picture it: Mid-December, Middle of Canadian Rockie Mountains. Decide to go camping...
To get to campsite we have to snow-shoe 12km through a forest. This will be my first time show shoeing. Along the way, we're following wolverine tracks on the trail through avalanche country. Our only source of water is if we melt some snow, since we can't carry too many things to the campsite. Takes us 8hrs of non-stop walking through knee-high snow to finally stop and set up the tent. When we wake up the next day there's icicles inside the tent, and my snow boots are frozen. Good news though, I survived.
