ABOUT ME

I'm a city boy at heart and there is nothing better than a city based near water, which is one of the reasons why I love Liverpool.
An ideal evening is listening to live music with a group of people and a few drinks. If I can do this and discover a great new band on the same night, then that is just fantastic.
I've travelled around Europe quite a bit and also spent a year in Canada, mainly in BC. I just love experiencing other towns and cities and other people's approach to life.
I've just lived and volunteered in Guatemala for a couple of months, which was fantastic.

Books: Apathy and Other Small Victories, Naive Super, The Angel Riots, Powder, any Christopher Moore, although there are too much to mention really, but Apathy and Other Small Victories is superb.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Places: Haida Gwaii, Western coastal Italy and living and volunteering in Guatemala.

Several rum and vodka based cocktails; The Cure 77-92 (!) and pubs in North-West England. I'm also happy to explain the rules of cricket to the uninitiated!
