Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Looking to stay on some couches and meet some interesting people while travelling this summer, and will be happy to host some surfers in Manchester when I return.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

New to Couchsurfing, but going to be staying on some couches on my travels in the US this summer.

Interests

I love rugby. I've played since I was 7, and love to watch it too - especially in the pub with a beer. I'm also very into my football and a massive fan of Manchester United.

Away from sports, I like to occassionally binge on a good TV series; go to clubs to see my favourite DJs; visit new places; meet new people; learn how to cook; eat good food; goof around with friends; and dance badly to cheesy music.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies - Shawshank Redemption, Forrest Gump, Braveheart, Gladiator, JAMES BOND, pretty much anything by Chris Nolan, How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days.

Music - My tastes range from Pink Floyd to Kanye West to Elton John. I love all kinds of music, so I'll just give you my top 5 favourite ever live music experiences (in no particular order): The Chemical Brothers, Bon Iver, Chase and Status, Michael Buble and the Foo Fighters.

Books: I'm about to start reading 'A Song of Ice and Fire'. Other than that I've loved The Hobbit, 'His Dark Materials' trilogy and I grew up on Harry Potter! I've promised myself I will read more.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Went on a road trip around Europe (twice actually) - on the way I played roulette in the Grand Casino in Monte Carlo; drank absinthe in Rome with a film maker from Balochistan; visited old Nazi concentration camps in Poland; and played a drinking game with some crazy Austrians involving a log, a hammer and some nails. It was awesome.
