I spend most of my free time on the stage, doing improv comedy with the Cambridge Impronauts (come and see us when you're in town!) and other student theatre. In my spare time I'm working on a PhD in psychiatry at the University of Cambridge. I'm supposed to be finishing this year but it's not going so well...I also work part time at the Cambridge Science Centre, explaining science to kids, and write about mental health. I also spend a lot of my time in face paint and costume, for some reason.

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

I've lucked out this year with a huge and gorgeous student flat in central Cambridge and I want to make sure it gets put to good use! I've known people involved in the Couchsurfing community for years, and seems like a fantastic community to be part of. I've lived in Cambridge for almost four years, even briefly worked as a tour guide for international students, and if I'm free while you're staying I can give you a taste of Cambridge student life. For now, I'm mainly interested in hosting as I don't have much free time to travel, but maybe in years to come that will change.

Tea/coffee, breakfast, anything else you want from the kitchen.
Can give you your own set of keys so you can come in and out.
Cambridge student accommodation on a college campus, with college gardens just behind.
I can give you a taste of student life - recommend shows, nightlife, etc. If I'm free I might be able to give you a tour of colleges or punt down the river - my student card can get us everywhere the tourists can't go! Invitations to any parties I'm throwing while you stay...just don't expect to sleep on those nights!
