ABOUT ME

I'm 26, I currently live half the year in Vancouver BC, and the other half in Oakland Ca. I am originally from Toronto ON. Went to school in Winnipeg. For the last few years I have been trying to find a balance between adventuring around and setting roots. When setting roots, I work with a youth drop in art center, and work on collaborations for musical projects and stage shows. I also read a lot, and write short stories. I like camping and being in nature- but also crowded urban spaces and parties.

PHILOSOPHY

Within reason, always take the most interesting option when faced with a decision- even if its sometimes terrifying.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I try to be an excellent house guest! I'm respectful of peoples spaces, self contained, self amused, and try to help with cleaning!

Also, I frequently host people in my space, and love showing people around the cities I love.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I don't have very much experience using this website. I have had couchsurfers from the site stay in communal houses I have lived in- and that has been very positive. Most of all though I have couch surfed (not using the site) for many years and met amazing people!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Riding outside in a train going through swamps flooded right up to the tracks under a full moon. So fast! Fast enough that the wind started to dissipate the layer of foam the rests on everything in the kind of heat. I'd been sick with a flu for days before, and restlessness- and at that moment there was a giant sense of release, anticipation, thrill and calm all at once.

I am a big believer in lessons through stories. I love to hear peoples stories and have a lot to share as well. On top of that, I'm pretty good at teaching numerous circus skills, and also composting, and making sauerkraut!
