I am a true Wisconsinite at heart: I enjoy cheese, beer, and the Packers. I moved to Colorado in 2008 for school and have lived here since.

I have travel extensively throughout the states. I have been on a few international trips, but I would like to explore more soon.

I work as an engineering helping to reduce the amount of energy commercial buildings use.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've been tangentially involved in CS for several years. For 3 years I had roommates who were very involved in the Boulder CS community. We subsequently hosted a few dozen surfers. I enjoy meeting new people at events, but I haven't hosted any surfers myself.

Interests

In my free time I enjoy hiking, biking, drinking on porches, and woodworking.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music interests are ever expanding. Some favorites are Sigur Ros, Led Zeppelin, Run the Jewels, Miles Davis, Arcade Fire, and Punch Brothers

I'm a big Star Wars fan. I also like most things Tarantino, Kubrick, Fincher, Coen Brothers, and Pixar. I also haven't been disappointed by anything A24 has put out. Not a huge fan of Horror, but really enjoy Thrillers.

Not a huge fiction reader. Recently I've been enjoying Gumption by Nick Offerman.
