CURRENT MISSION

I want to meet up with locals in Barcelona, Ireland (including Dublin), Germany, Amsterdam, and the various other European destinations to which I will be traveling this summer, including Interlaken, Geneva and Instanbull among other places.

ABOUT ME

Heey, how's it going? My name is Alex, and at the risk of sounding generic and unoriginal (quite a crime!), I'm an interesting, fun-loving person. Yeah, like most people here, I like to "see you new places," "meet new people" and "do new things"--the usual stuff people everywhere tend to say. But what I think really defines me as a personality, makes me unique, is my high energy level and my natural conversational flair. Related to that high energy level, and intense enjoyment of simple things like engaging conversation, I love getting swept away by small, simple, spontaneous "adventures"--such as getting lost and exploring some random place, or deliberately going off the proverbial beaten path with no pre-defined plan.

That aside, it goes without saying that I love to meet people from different cultures in ANY capacity. And I'm very eager to meet and hopefully hang out with locals from the various European destinations to which I will be traveling this summer--though I would love to meet up with fellow travelers too. Indeed, I know that what really defines any place are the people. And I'm very excited that CouchSurfing.org provides a community based upon creating encounters between nationals and internationals, all over the world.

On another note, I'd like to point out that I'm also TOTALLY up for meeting internationals in the States, both before and after my trip. Just send me a message!
