About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Make the most of Bordeaux! I won a contest to come here and I want to enjoy it to the fullest!
ABOUT ME
I like making little challenges for myself! Stuff I've done in the past: make art once a day for 30 days (I've done this multiple times!), kick a bad habit by making myself a behavior chart (!), read 20 books in a year, try something new all the time (capoeira, calligraphy, American Sign Language...).
I am currently (August 2019) in Bordeaux until the end of the month, taking classes at the Alliance Française.
PHILOSOPHY
Aspire to inspire, opt for optimism!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I really started my CS experience by attending events through CS Hanoi. This entire community of people has been the greatest, most grounded group I've encountered. I want to attend more events and start hosting!!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Everyone I've met from CS has been a source of fantastic new experiences and ideas. I've met a ton of people I never would have met otherwise! My very first time surfing was with Oliver in Bangkok, and he was so kind to patch up my bloody toe after a crazy day on the train from Chiang Mai! What a great introduction to CS. :)
Interests
Exploring my neighborhood, trying new foods, riding my bike (can't live without one!), playing guitar, writing songs, writing in general, blogging, learning to draw, dreaming, doing anything new!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Fallen in love more than once
When the entire night market in Chiang Mai froze to listen to the Thai national anthem.
Swinging from a tree in the hills of Berkeley, overlooking the university and San Francisco below.
