Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

"Mi casa es tu casa"
I have stayed with friends and whenever they come to wherever I am, they stay at mine, it's always mutual.
Learning about a new place and culture by staying with local people is the best to make the most of your visit plus you always make new friends for a lifetime!

I was introduced to CS by a friend, since then it has become a great experience.

While I'm travelling and being hosted, don't worry if you can't spend time, we can always catch up at dinner or for drinks!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first CS experience was in New Zealand and it was great, the family I stayed with was beautiful, I felt part of them.

I spent 5 months around Southeast Asia, I couch-surfed in most of the places and it was awesome!! Met amazing people, made new friends and had funny experiences, making great stories.

If my host has time, I like to spend it hanging around the town, going to the places they go, sharing stories and having fun, although I also understand they might have a tight schedule or a busy day at work and probably won't have time to do so, I don't mind, is part of the experience as well.

Teach, Learn, Share

Recently in Batu Caves, Malaysia, saw this quote. I think fits to every stage in our life, wherever we are...
"Whatever happened was good.
Whatever is happening is also good.
Whatever will happen that also will be good.

What did you lose that you are crying for?
What did you bring which have you lost?
What did you created that is destroyed?

Whatever you have taken is taken only from here.
Whatever you have given, is given only from here.

Whatever is yours today, will belong to someone else tomorrow.
On another day, it will belong to yet another.

This inevitable change is the law of the universe and the objective of my creation."
Bhagavan Sri Krishna
