Hey everybody!

I'm Alex, 35-year old globetrotter from Helsinki. I am currently working as a wilderness guide and I'm traveling every chance I get. I'm really addicted with the sensation of freedom and excitement of the unknown when being on the open road.

I am friendly, down-to-earth and people say I'm really easy to get along with. I am also impulsive and it's never hard to tempt me into adventurous things.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Trying to host fellow surfers as much as possible and hoping to meet people who are traveling in Finland and showing them around!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Been hosted a few times and it has been awesome! It's really a different traveling experience when you are with a local who can show you more real and alternative sides of the cities and cultures.

Also I have met amazing people and made some great friends.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The best experience of my life was back in 2019 when I quit my job and apartment to do Camino del Norte, a 800+ kilometer hike in north of Spain.
