CURRENT MISSION

I'm currently trying to become the best circus artist I can be. I've been attend a circus school in Italy called Flic and now I’m coming to Toulouse to see another school called Lido in hopes to cultivate and hone my skills as a performer.

ABOUT ME

My name is Alex and I've been a traveling for many years as a Street Performing. My circus skills consist of cyr wheel (see pictures), jugging, and magic. I would be happy to put on a little magic show for hosts. More recently I've been taking break from traveling to become a better artiest.

I would describe myself as a people person who loves to laugh and will never say no to a new experience. I am always up for learning new this FRENCH being first in that list, or new card game or a new recipe. I love cooking and exchanging in the kitchen, learning about the different kinds of food people enjoy cooking. ANNNNDDDD I ALWAYS clean up after myself!

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I love Couchsurfing because it brings travelers and people together. I've really enjoyed the people from all walks of life that I've met on this site. It a wonderful way to get to know the people and the area while making new friends and finding hidden gems in the community your in.

For now my participation is bringing a good presence to where I am staying. Happy to help around the house and perhaps show a little magic..

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first stay was with a family in Auckland. They have hosted many Couch Surfers, as many as 10 at a time!! There was a sweet little dog names buddy, he is a terrier. They said "he was a good guard dog before couch surfers came around". Now he seems to think that everyone are friends and lives to pet him. They are the type of family who shared dinner every night and exchanging nightly who cooks. They were a great first time experience full of generosity and kindness. I am sure I will be in contact with them for the rest of my days. :)

兴趣

My biggest interest at the moment would have to be Street Performing. The magic that happens while I am performing is stunning. I gather a crowed of complete strangers and laugh and chat with them.

I love Circus, Juggle, Spin Poi (fire), Magic, Reading, Biking, Rock Climbing.

I find that my favorite books and movies tend to be fantasy, Science Fiction, Philosophy, Fiction:
Enders Game Saga, X-Men, LOTR, Star Wars, Terry Goodkind, Terry Pratchett, Aldous Huxley, Hermann Hesse, Carlos Castaneda, Dan Brown, Robert Ludlum, Brandon Sanderson.

Music: Love me some good electronic music, drum and base, house, jungle, hip hop, r&b, jazz, and showt out to Soundcloud. haha

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

One of my most rewarding experiences was working with Burmese refugees, orphanages, and migrant school children. I was apart of a traveling circus called Spark, that toured all around Thailand. We were able to performed for thousands of children bringing loads of fun and laughs.

Many of these families and children were forced to flee Burma for there own safety and welfare. Burma is run my a evil military regime that does not hesitate to shoot and blow up there own people. It's truly heart wrenching to hear some of the stories of these people.

To be able laugh and play with these kids was overwhelming and full of bliss and joy. I was also quite humbled by the experience and know how lucky/privileged I am.
