Get out there! Exploring Asia in 2015/16.

ABOUT ME

In 2014 I left my job because I realised that money and career progression were not making me happy. Since then I have hitchhiked 20,000km across Europe, mostly sleeping in my tent or under the stars, and am now starting an open-ended period of travel in Asia. My new life has given me the freedom to explore amazing places, meet so many beautiful people, and wake up with the sun each morning. I love it!

I am driven by my curiosity and belief in a more holistic way of living, which has led me to various spiritual paths and communities, including Buddhism, Sufism, and rainbow gatherings. I try to contentedly live each moment as it comes, not worrying about tomorrow or yesterday, and letting each day unfold by saying yes to opportunities.

I want to live a life that has integrity, and is faithful to what is important to me. This means freedom from social norms that do not make us a happier, more loving society. It means trusting people, living without fear, and hopefully inspiring others to do the same. And it means trying to live in a sustainable way, where instead of asking “what can I get out of life” we realise we are in constant relationship with all that is around us, and that the more we give, the stronger that relationship becomes.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Not a lot because I almost always wild camp, or find some unexpected place to sleep. Life is more fun without plans! I want to use CS more to meet wonderful people on the road. I´m more active on BeWelcome or Trustroots.

Interessen

I love books! My Kindle is the most important thing I carry. Not getting much of a chance to watch films or listen to music anymore.
