Why I’m on Couchsurfing

For me traveling is not about coming to a place with a group of tourists, taking pics of monuments and visiting museums. What I really like is to see and feel local life from the inside - talking to real people, not the tour guides. In any country tourist is a guest who is being shown only the best part of local living. That's what Im trying to skip - I wanna see your grocery store, I wanna see a caffe where you spend time with friends, etc. Monuments and museums are definitely interesting but much less interesting than real people with stories of their lives. That's exactly what I hope to find on CS.

Interests

First of all, I've been playing music since 6yo, basically for all my conscious life. It has always been the only constant and nearly the most important part of my life. Apart from that I've tried 100k different jobs and occupations and finally got stuck to web-programming and web-marketing. Thus I can afford quite flexible schedule and also have huge opportunities for self-development as a professional which has always been important for me. Currently I'm managing an internet store that sells musical instruments and gear. And I'm also co-running a small home-based photo-studio.

There are no styles or genres, there's bad music, good music and perfect music. I'm pretty much a fan of everything that is able to touch feelings and impacts emotions - from Vivaldi to Beartooth & from D.Brubeck to Animals as Leaders
As for books, I'd mention V.Pelevin, P.Coelho, V.Erofeev..
Movies... ehhh... too many!! :)

Teach, Learn, Share

The best and the most precious thing we all can share is our experience. I would tell about my country as well as about life in London, about my experience of working behind the bar and in a secondary school and managing a night club, etc. I'd give some tips or lesson in playing guitar or making websites. I can share my experience in running and promoting business. And these are millions of things people can share and talk about - pets, cars, family, hobbies, music, food, news, countries... everyone has his or her unique story to tell, right? :)
