Overview
About Me
Hey there! My name is Alex. I'm a small town guy hailing from the state of Kansas. I'm currently about to finish up my last year of engineering school, with no plans after that besides getting out and seeing the world. Fun facts about me: I love to camp and spent 13 years with the Boy Scouts culminating in me receiving my Eagle Scout Award. I was a Collegiate Cheerleader at the University of Kansas. I am a certified Scuba diver, but haven't been diving in a while. I also have a knack for adventure and finding the paths less traveled.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Many reasons. I love sitting down with strangers and learning about their lives, their views, and their hopes. I also enjoy inviting people into my home, and I'm always willing to share, whether it's food, booze, or a place to stay. I do plan on traveling someday, and I would like to have a reputation on this community for being somebody who you will enjoy hosting.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I once did a handstand on the middle of a frozen lake. Does that count?
Teach, Learn, Share
I could tutor you in Math or Chemistry. I could teach you how to swim. I could show you how to do flips and cartwheels. I could learn your stories, your passions, and your beliefs. I could share the night of the town I call home.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share food, booze, and tobacco. I can share a story or ten of my triumphs or mistakes.
