About Me

I was born in USA, born of Brazilian parents and raised in Brazil.
I lived in a few cities in Brazil like Poços de Caldas, São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Curitiba and Porto Alegre.
Arrived in Germany to study in late 2018 and are looking to meet up with new people.

I work as a film-maker, my last feature film ("Guerrilha - A Trajetória da Dorsal Atlântica") is a documentary about the first extreme Brazilian heavy metal band. I do work also as a film critic on a website named Kinograma.
And I'm also the writer of the lyrics on Thy Light, an underground Black Metal band from Brazil.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to travel but since I work with art, I don't earn enough money to do it.
So I'm here trying to find places to spend a night, having a shower and meeting up some new people to talk about culture and life experiences.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I walked the Camino de Santiago once, and it was the best experience of my life - I'm definitely not the same person I used to be before that.

I lost my wallet in Wacken Open Air and managed to survive only by collecting and recycling empty cans for a week.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach mostly everything about film-making, heavy metal history, world cinema, Brazilian food, how to play a few City and Colour songs on guitar and traveling in Brazil.

I really want to learn about culture, languages of the world and things I don't know very well but might find interesting.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can cook, clean, help with home services, talk about different cultures and languages, movies and photography, I'm able to walk (or bicycling) the whole cities where I'm in and I probably won't complain about anything.

Countries I’ve Visited

Argentina, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Paraguay, Poland, Slovakia, Spain, United Kingdom, United States
