I'm a student from the United States and am currently studying abroad in Norway for the year. I am working on a Bachelors in Environmental Studies at home and doing a program in alpine ecology here. I grew up on an island in Washington state, but I often visited the mountains near my hometown. I've spent the last two summers working there on a trail crew.

I haven't traveled very much, but I look forward to a lot of travelling in the future!

I a huge fan of both playing and listening to music. I have been playing guitar since I was eleven and bass since I was thirteen. I have learned to play ukulele and several other instruments over the past few years as well.

I very much enjoy concerts of all types of music and have gone to at least one per year for the last at least 5 years.

My taste in music is a bit diverse, but I listen to mostly rock, indie, alternative or punk/ska. Jack Johnson, Kaleo, Jose Gonzalez, Highly Suspect, the Lumineers, Ezra Bell, and Green Day are some of my favorites.

Movies: Dramas/action/documentaries...The Secret Life of Walter Mitty, Age of Adaline, The Lighthouse of the Orcas

I can't think of a favorite book. Have any suggestions?
