About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Perpetually improve myself
ABOUT ME
I'm a very approachable and friendly individual. Conversations come fluidly and I become comfortable among strangers relatively quickly. I'm proactive about life, going out and making the most of my experience whenever I can-- I take every opportunity I can.
Love music and being in the outdoors... and both simultaneously!
PHILOSOPHY
The things I am the most uncomfortable to venture into are the things I grow the most from.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
It's been overwhelmingly positive... First time couchsurfing, I stayed with the owner of a tea shop in Melaka, Malaysia and had such a good experience. A great way to venture beyond conventional traveling (which is unconventional in itself) and meet people from all walks of life.
Interests
I have a passion for being active! Swimming, running, sports, martial arts, hiking... Anything that challenges my body and pushes me beyond my limits. I'm also an avid learner- i like to digest literature although I haven't had the opportunity to read for leisure very often since I've begun college.
I'm also very passionate about music. Guitar and singing have been my outlets since I was 16.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've seen the ruins at angkor wat in Cambodia. The giant hand carved structures with Cambodian lore inscribed in the sides... just absolutely gorgeous.
I almost walked into an illegal ring of folks in Vietnam, my closest encounter with death.
I traveled Taiwan, biked with families while I was there, and ended up spending my final night in a cafe with interesting folks who were interested in heavy metal rock (and I am not -- was a diverse arrangement that night!).
I've started a company in Cambodia, and had a hell of time doing it.
I've trespassed onto a blocked off trail in the crystal coves in Southern California, climbed a 30 foot face of jagged wall, and leaped into the ocean. The pure adrenaline that overwhelms you when you're suspended in air, subject to nothing but gravity, is indescribable.
Teach, Learn, Share
Would love to share what I know about guitar (which is quite limited). Also, I was studying political science in university, so a good conversation about politics is always in order.
Doing computer science at the moment -- would be more than happy to share that!
