After living and working in NYC for over 12 years, I’m taking on a new journey to Beijing and Singapore as an expat for the next 8 to 12 months. Would love to meet new people who is similarly adventurous and explore every nuance Beijing has to offer!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Back in the days, while I was still an international student, I had so much curiosity about the world but so little in the pocket. Couchsurfing came into sight in 2008 thanks to a really good American friend I hang out with in Shanghai, with whom I also exchanged language through a weekly English learning meetup. That opens up a new world for me. Couchsurfing really had helped improving my limited network, poor speaking (back then), and eased up my tight budget to allow me meet with people from completely different culture and stay local with good folks at nearly zero costs. It has enriched my life and made a part of who I am today.
