I am Afsaneh, my family and friends call me Alfi or Afi, feel free to use any of them.
I am originally Persian but have Turkish backgrounds.

I am very much interested in literature and history (both national and international) and have read a lot of books in these contexts. My main leisure activity is painting, though I sometimes try other hand-works such as making jewelry and collage works. I like to chat with friends, surf the internet, watch movies, read books (magazines), play computer games; but I am very selective in all of them.

I studied Entrepreneurship management, Business economics and now teach these topics at the university. I worked for many years in the transport sector and still do research projects in this field. Besides that, I have my own business in which I offer consultation and market analysis advisory to the interested clients.

I am interested and engaged in environmental activities and I think it is our responsibility to save the environment and the planet earth because it is seriously in danger and we have no other home to live in.

I am neat and this is important for me to keep the house clean and in order, I don't like messed up and disordered rooms and spaces.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music:
Depending on my mood, I listen to different pieces of music, generally, I am more interested in classical and opera, but I listen to pop and jazz as well. If I want to name pieces I really like, I can name: morghe sahar, simin bari, mara bebus (these are Persian songs), Gidelim buralardan, eller gunahkar, iyilesiyorum (these are Turkish) and love in Portofino, dove l'amore, vivo per lei, felicita

Books:
As I said I am interested in history and literature, the first and most re-read book for me is Shahnameh, the great work of Ferdowsi which is the whole history of Persia, from the first king Kyomars to the conquest of Persia by the Muslim Arab invasions. The second book is the Nezami Ganjavi's incredible artwork, named Khosrow and Shirin, a true love story of Persian king Khosrow and Armenian Princess Shirin, when you read it you feel like watching a movie.
Then definitely I have to point out to Homer's Iliad and Odyssey one of the most ancient epic poem books about the Trojan war.
other books that I can suggest, are Animal Farm (George Orwell), Kaputt (Curzio Malaparte) and Mein Kampf (Adolf Hitler).
