ABOUT ME

Hello! I would like to view myself as an easy going individual, who just likes to smile and laugh. I enjoy being around people and making new friends, where I can swap stories and get new perspectives on life. I want to live life to the fullest, be as happy as I can be, gain as much knowledge as possible, and simply enjoy my surroundings.

I recently graduated college and am ready to start an exciting life of field work that revolves around birds, since this is a main interest of mine. I'm getting ready to spend the summer in Bloomington, Indiana and than embrace whatever life throws my way. My goal is to go to grad school in the next couple of years, but I'm in no rush and I'm very content gaining life experience at the moment.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I haven't been able to host people yet, but someday when I am a bit more settled, I would love to be able to accommodate people on their travels just like many others have done for me.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have had few couch surfing experiences, and all of them have been orchestrated through friends, but none of them have made a bad impression on me and have enticed me to actually enter the couch surfing world on my own.

I enjoy all movies, except for overly violent and horror movies.

If I can sing along, dance, be goofy, or whatever to it.... it's probably fine with me. My preference is alternative, indie, and folk music though.

Some of my favorite books are the Monkey Wrench Game, East of Eden, and Wicked.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

A couple of friends and I took a road trip from Indiana to Nevada at the end of this past summer. My two favorite stops along the way were Badlands National Park in North Dakota and Yellowstone National Park. The Badlands was not what I expected at all and completely took my breath away. I can't wait to go back and spend more time there. Yellowstone, of course, was gorgeous and there were Bison everywhere! They were holding up cars while just walking down the middle of roads and gathering in herds next to the road.... it was really something.
