About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Teaching, travelling, meet new people, enjoy life!

ABOUT ME

I now live in New York, in Brooklyn and really like it so far. I love to travell, I wish I could travell more although I can't complain because I do have a lot of opportunities, but I wish I could spend more time in every country I have the chance to visit...
What can I tell you about me? I like to meet people, and when I visit a country I like to know about the people and the culture (the CS2 experience makes it easier!).

PHILOSOPHY

Enjoy life, don't limit yourself to what is just around you, try to look further.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I hosted some people and I surfed as well. I can also help people if I'm not able to host them, I can give them information about the city and stuff...and have a drink with them too!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Music, Movies, and Books

Ghost Dog or Dead man are some of my favorites movies, I like listening to Erikah Badu,Jill scott, Nina Simone, Keziah Jones, Nicolas Jaar, Trentemoller, all kind of different things...Oh there's a lot of thing I like to listen to but must of all jazz, trip hop, soul, funk, electro...
A good book? I read a lot but most of all comics. I like Joe Sacco, a journalist who decided to tell the true story of some countries, some wars, some conflicts writing comics. You should read it!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've seen a lot of thing amazing for me, I don't know how to choose one thing and to considere it the most amazing.
I can tell one thing amazing I remenber: few years ago I went to Senegal with a friend. We had a problem with the bus, a tire burst so the bus driver let us on the border of the street. It was night and we tried to catch another bus but it was hard because it was late. Finally we catched a bus, but the driver stopped in a small village but not the same village we were planning to go. It was midnight, there were no hotels in the village, we didn't know where to sleep, we were two 20 years old girls...Finally an old men, a teenage and a woman who were in the same bus came and told us to come with them because it was dangerous to stay out at night...We went to a house where another family hosted us, gave us some food, drinks...We woke them up, they didn't knew us, they didn't knew the three people who guide us there and slept there too, they were just a friend from a friend from a friend.
I think this is the most amazing thing I've seen.
