Hi! We are Uli and Alfon, an Argentine couple who, after traveling a lot through our own country, decided to leave our professions one year ago and fly to Australia on a Working Holiday visa.
Now it’s time to take the next step: we’re starting our first big backpacking adventure in Southeast Asia, with the idea of slowly travelling the world together.
We love to travel without tight schedules, enjoying each place at our own pace and doing what we feel.
We’re respectful, tidy and easygoing. We love sharing stories, cooking typical food from our country and connecting with locals and other travellers.
Although this profile was created by Uli back in 2016 with the idea of hosting people, we never had the chance to use Couchsurfing until now. This will be our very first experience as surfers, and we’re really excited to start this journey!
For us, Couchsurfing is all about meaningful connections, not just a free bed.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

We travelled across Patagonia with a 50-year-old camper that belonged to Uli’s grandfather, which we restored together. It was an unforgettable adventure full of breathtaking landscapes and stories on the road.

What I Can Share with Hosts

We can cook a typical Argentine meal, share mate, help with daily chores and have interesting conversations. We’re always grateful to learn from our hosts and share our culture too.
