关于我

Geeky stuff.
24 yrs old filmmaker with a thing for long, slow travelling (and shots). I am the kind of filmmaker who believes the best script can only come from real experiences.
I can be a very, very spontaneous person. But not in a quirky, giggly blonde way. More as in it starts raining and I make some weird excuse just to go out and get wet. As in let's grab the car and see where it takes us at 3AM on a wednesday.
My dad always says I don't plan enough. I agree with him, but secretly believe planning is some unnatural way to try and predict the future, to somehow feel safer.
Walking is one of the things I enjoy the most. I can't stand visiting a new place inside a car. I will jump out of it and run away. More than half of any given day while travelling I spend walking. I just need a backpack with liquid and some sandwich, and a long road. This translates from crowded downtown streets to mountains and the like.
Since I usually travel alone, I avoid the touristy places and ways and look for the local, authentic life. I think that's where the real experience is. I hate gift shops and fancy hotels and fake stuff.

You need to know this about me: I take fun really seriously.
I can be very social and open, and have personally organized many house parties with more than a hundred people attending, preparing the place (decorations and sound systems) designing and sending invitations, and DJing myself just for the pleasure of having a lot of people moving their asses to some new beat I've found.
I can also be the guy on sweatpants organizing a LAN party (friends with computers gather to play) that lasts for days, surviving only on junk food and cultivating acne.

Now for the bad stuff: I'm awkwardly imprudent sometimes, have a weird sense of humor, and am a night owl (which can bother some people). I can also be very, very absentminded and quiet sometimes, immerse in some deep or very stupid thought.

Trying to find where I fit in the world since 1991.
Stumbled upon couchsurfing a few years ago, when a friend that was staying at my place mentioned it.

I should warn you: I grew up as a very introverted kid, and although I learned to open up and am now more like 50/50, I still am not your extroverted/always up for a selfie guy. Still I'd like to think I can provide an interesting conversation about lots of stuff. Would also like to think I'm good at listening.

I can't stand the concept of going somewhere new and staying at a hotel, a fake bubble that doesn't really have anything to do with where you are. So I aim to stay and live closer to the real thing.

This, and the fact I am a very low maintenance machine and don't require fancy stuff to be happy.

兴趣

Walking new places, listening to new thoughts, living different ways of living. People.
I have literally not stopped reading since I can remember. Literally. If I do, I can't sleep. I read mainly sci-fi and fantasy, but have been on a hard sci-fi marathon for about two years now. When I get bored I just read two books simultaneously, or just open any Harry Potter book on a random page, or a Moebius comic.
Music is also real important to me, to the point where I've started dabbling with synthesizers and analog electronics and circuit bending to discover new sounds.
Videogames are also important. As I wrote somewhere before, I take this stuff very seriously. Give me a game like The Last of Us, Journey or Shadow of the Colossus and some headphones and come back in a week. But keep your Candy Crush to yourself, please.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

My very first time with snow was on the top of the Empire State building, with my brother. Wind was hitting it in such a way that it actually seemed as if it was snowing up. We couldn't think or talk. We just stood there, while it snowed.

教,学,和分享

For me, sharing is all about cooking and dance moves. I'm not gonna lie and say I'm the best cook, but the experience itself is something I enjoy greatly. With that and dancing something funny happens. I have lots of dishes I cook that specific people taught me, and are now sort of mine. Same with dance moves.
So yeah, I go around finding identity in stealing recipes and dance moves.

I can help keeping the place clean and cooking. I'm not in any rush.
Warning: I'm in an unhealthy relationship with garlic and black pepper.
