About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To expand my limited knowledge first-hand about the world I live in.

ABOUT ME

An ambitious seeker of art, music, travel, food and delicious beer. A lover of meeting new people, customs, cuisines, and crafts. I am a 29 year old Sociologist/DJ that loves meeting new people, and expanding my limited knowledge on the vast world I live in.

PHILOSOPHY

Wake up, and learn something you previously did not know, ask a question, and teach someone a new word/phrase.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am currently in a transitional stage of moving into a new apartment-- but I am ALWAYS willing to lend a hand with regard to finding a great place to eat, drink, laugh, and communicate.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have used Couchsurfing to meet some incredible people at CS events while I stayed in Istanbul, Turkey. Unfortunately I was not able to stay with anyone within close proximity to the city centre, but I met many people at CS mixers that gave me a local flavor of Istanbul. Terrific time.

Interests

Sociologically inclined conversations about any topic. Discovering new Music, Memoirs, Running through new trails, Driving through the backwoods, Exploring new and unforeseen avenues.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am a lover of all things documentaries/historical films and Memoirs. Music is the universal, and first tongue.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

1) Picking up my belongings and driving up the I-5 Freeway from Los Angeles to Portland, Or and beginning a new phase of my life a few years back. The scenery transitions from California to Oregon were a sight to see.

2) Catching Arthur Verocai perform at my Alma Mater, CSULA, with the Suite for Ma Dukes ensemble. Their performance nearly left me in tears.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am an adamant coffee connoisseur. I can teach you about the various methods/preparations of the fine, green bean the world cherishes. I also love having lengthy discussions on all matters pertaining to music.

I would love to learn to play Chess more proficiently and acquire better boxing techniques.

Countries I’ve Visited

Canada, Mexico, Portugal, Spain, Turkey, United States
