Hi! My name is Alfie Turner, I am 27 years old and I have just come back from Italy where I spent 7 years learning the language and travelling around as a street musician. I am a friendly, kind and thoughtful person and like to meet new people and expand my network. I play Guitar, Piano, Bass, Drums and Percussion and I am a singer as well. My main profession at the moment is mixology which I have been doing on and off since I was 18 so I can make a mean Mojito!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As I wrote before I have just come back from Italy after 7 years away from London and all the connections I had before have since left. I am working and looking for an apartment, but a friend of mine suggested trying out couchsurfing as she had had a great experience with it when she was here. So I thought why not, lets give it a go!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I sailed from Barcelona, around the foot of Italy and up to Croatia, swimming in 800m of water along the way which was pretty scary at first but the closest thing to flying I think I ever experienced :)

I can teach, English, Guitar, Italian, Italian cooking and cocktails, I would like to learn more languages and my next culinary goal is to learn Indian cooking.
