About Me

CURRENT MISSION

la vida gira por tu ventana no la dejes escapar / life goes around your window, dont let it go away

ABOUT ME

i am a guy that loves traveling and learning about different cultures, want to go to museums and learn about the everyday life and find those little treasures cities have hidden from regular tourists, love walking, people say I talk alot and i am quite easy going and friendly, i love eating as I have some studies of culinary arts, so food is very important for me, drink coffe/beer/wine with a new friend its a perfect evening, and just talk about almost anything, talking to people is great, love learning from people that has completely different backgrounds than mine.

PHILOSOPHY

live your life without hurting anyone around you...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am surfing right now as I was just told about it and wasnt really sure what was this about.
I wish to host on a later time when i come back to my house, it would be great to have someone over from time to time to exchange experiences and sho my city to them, I have worked on the travel bussiness for a while so I know what things are great to see and of course go on the cheapest rates ALWAYS!!!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am new on this so really i am clueless about it, I have heard that it´s great to couchsurf and so but never experience it before so why not giving it a try, I mean i am looking at profiles of people and it seems it´s a great community, and I like that.
ever since i was a small kid my parent always had people over from USA and Canada, as cultural exchanges, we hosted people at home for a month or more, getting to learn their culture and well they learned spanish we learned english, and even japanese!!!! (which i can only recall how to say my name is:) so never CS but I have lots of experience on cultural exchanges thruout my life, as well when I was 15 I used to go to USA on cultural exchanges as a mexican folk dancer so I was teaching mexican dances and culture to people form USA we sort of CS there...

Love reading: love garcia marquez, love the beat generation books (they were so out of their minds), love Anne Rice vampires books , altough the latest werent as good as the first 5 she managed to write, Carlos Castaneda I believe is a great writer sometimes I dont know if what he writes about was actually true but it gives you a really good look of the shamanic world of mexico, a brave new world and 1984, is awesome how orwell and huxley actually sort of foresaw the future, the perfume (it´s fantastic),

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

i believe the most amazing thng that I´ve made was to leave home at 18, and go to a different country to teach about my culture ( I am a professional Mexican folk dancer), after that I came back to Mexico and performed for 2 years in the best mexican folk dance troupe that there is (http://youtu.be/RNIemA4XNRg), and performed at the palace of fine arts of mexico one of the best theaters of the world the ballet folklorico de Amalia Hernandez it´s one of the best of the world.
in there we perfomed in Monaco for Prince Rainier III it was awesome

Teach, Learn, Share

love learning new things and if I dont know about something about anything please teach me, general culture, your own culture (I can tell you a lot about mine!!!), cooking (can always get new recipes or I can teach you mexican cuisine as well!!!) ,
