My current mission statement is the same as it has always been. Enjoy life and avoid boredom. Mostly I succeed in these simple goals.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My whole aim here is to hopefully help people enjoy my side of Australia in a relaxed, yet active manner.

We've had great experiences in other countries with random strangers helping us and now we are happy opening up our door to travellers and giving them smiling faces to say hello to.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We have hosted couchsurfers in the past. All of them have been positive and we've enjoyed the chance to meet new people from different areas of the world and having time to get to know them.

We have now also surfed a couple of couches in Canada which thanks to the people involved were both fantastic experiences.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

28 European countries in 6 months by road. The corners of this trip being Portugal, Turkey, Estonia and The Netherlands.

Teach:
Local knowledge 101:
I've travelled Australia so can teach travellers that Oz can be varied throughout, varse in landscape and climate, subtle in culture and activities.
Practical travel of the European continent:
I've driven Europe and know the legalities of car ownership, insurance and visa requirements for Australians and N.Zers.
The inner workings of my headspace: noone can teach it like I can.

Learn:
Anything great people tell me, I listen, sometimes question. I look forward to hearing it.
