Overview
About Me
I love to travel on a tight budget, and when I travel I want to live like the locals. I'm travelling to learn new things, about other people's culture and to appreciate them. I also love to visit historical sites and natural wonders, it somewhat refreshes my life and gives me a new perspective. As much as possible I avoid overspending on transportation, I always try the cheapest mode of moving from one place to another or I walk to my next stop. Walking the streets lets me observe the foreign things around me at a much slower pace.

Music, Movies, and Books
- Dan Brown books do give me the thrill I'm seeking from novels. Love his page turner stories. I've also read several inspirational books from authors like Og Mandino, Napoleon Hill, and Paulo Coelho. Oh and I also love to read Japanese black and white comics called "Manga", guess I'll always be a child at heart.
- Music from the 1950's to 1990's. I love decade defining music from Bon Jovi, Linkin Park, Beatles, Bread, Air Supply, Roxette, Michael Learns to Rock, etc. Don't bash me if your fave is not included, we can discuss it over coffee.
- Movies from Christopher Nolan are one of my favorite as I need to rewatch his movies to understand it better. I also love to watch series and anime.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
- Lived on the streets for 3 days without money, don't know if this is amazing for others but I just want to immerse myself on the daily live of the less fortunate. To really understand the needy.
Teach, Learn, Share
- I share my experience thru my blog (tinagtag.blogspot.com)
- I also love to listen to other people's experience. I know I don't need to touch a flame just to know it will hurt, just need to listen to others.
- I also love to teach children, especially Science and Math. I'm a nerd but don't have the glasses and the braces, and I'm also not skinny.
What I Can Share with Hosts
- Travel experience
- I can be the host's guide if he/she visits my home country or my hometown. My hometown is Maguindanao, rich in natural resources but kinda risky to visit especially if you look like a foreigner and not on an AID mission.
