My partner and I are both professional Self Employed. Travel a lot for work and pleasure.
We live with our little daughter in the Ryde area, few km away from Sydney center.
Like to meet new people, learn about cultures and new experiences.
Been very lucky to do something I really enjoy for work, which took me to many places. I also enjoy joining people and going for short trips (few days up to 2-3 weeks) to new places
I'm a foodie, love eating and drinking local food and also have a passion for cooking

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When I travel its always nice to stay with other people not because of saving money, but to meet new people and learn about their way of living and culture.
Same, We are happy to host people time to time, to meet new people and learn about their experiences . Happy to cook or let you cook something special from your part of the world.

If you want to stay with us, please remember this is a family house with little kid so you need to be considerate with time and our baby sleeping times.

We can't host party people for reasons above and we prefer someone that in return of staying in a nice and comfortable family house with everything you may need, you be happy to give us a hand in house or keeping an eye on our daughter when we cooking or doing something at home

We are both great cooks and we passionate about food and drinks

Due to our work, I can't confirm requests with long notice. I prefer spontenous and few days ahead as my work may need me to travel without notice

When I travel I rarely ask to be the guest but sometimes its nice to stay somewhere that has soul over hotel rooms. I like cooking, engaging in interesting conversations and learn about languages or cultures

What I Can Share with Hosts

We live in a two bedroom unit with my partner, and our baby girl, with beautiful view over city. We live in Ryde which is approx 15km from city center
We have a big and comfortable couch, unless you prefer to sleep on a single mattress on the ground.

We are a family with very little kid so if you stay with us you have to understand you be staying in our daughter's room and we need you to be baby friendly. we may not be the typical single students house that people party. we would prefer someone that is happy to share time with us and our daughter and maybe even helping in the house or taking care of her and playing with her for a while when we cooking or doing something.

Due to my work trips or our personal plans, sometimes its difficult to confirm hosting long time ahead. Normally i can confirm a few days ahead
You can use appliances, fridge, TV and Xbox (and Netflix), and also cook (as long as you don't burn the place to ground lol)

Unit is near bus station and 25-30 mins to travel to city center and back
All I expect in return is to keep our unit clean and please no party
