I am a Canadian student, originally from Ottawa, ON (and Halifax, NS), currently pursuing a PhD in Neuroscience in Goettingen, Germany. My free time is commonly spent with a good book or movie, baking cookies, or enjoying a beer or a hot cup of tea. I also love camping, travelling and all things outdoors.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When visiting a city, it is quite easy to miss out on all the little things that make that place special. While the best way to really learn a place is to live there, I think hanging out with locals is a great way to gain a bit more insight when you are only travelling through.
