Overview
About Me
Like most others, I very much enjoy meeting new people and gaining new experiences.
I believe that each part of life is a work of art. It may be dark, ambiguous, bland or embarrassing at times, but it can always be beautiful. My goal is to live a life full of joy, mindfulness and art. My day-to-day life is a continuation of my education.
As for formal education, I am right in the middle of my Masters in Clinical Counseling. My main interests in the field surround grief and generativity.
I love trying new food and drinks, and can often times be found checking out local coffee shops. I am very excitable when it comes to a piping hot cup of black coffee.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I want to meet new people and hear new philosophies on life. I am collector of stories and outlooks, and I am hungry for wisdom.

Music, Movies, and Books
For books, "the Gifts of Imperfection" by Brene Brown, "Downtown Owl" by Chuck Klosterman and I'm currently reading "No Mud, No Lotus" by Thich Nhat Hanh.
I am not familiar with most movies, but I would never hesitate in recommending "the Prestige," "I Am" or "Pan's Labyrinth" to a friend.
Music fuels my life. I love folk, classic rock, blues classics and 90's pop/grunge.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I had finger reattachment surgery after my right-hand pinky was severed in a freak pontoon accident.
