Overview
About Me
Like my mum I also was born in Kiew in the Ukraine. My father on the other hand is from Lebanon. However, my family moved to Germany when I was two years old... And since I’ve spent the most time of my life in Germany I consider myself as a German. I grew up in a bigger multi-cultural family in a small town in north-western Germany and moved later to Hamburg after I had finished my studies. Whether it was then with my family or later with my friends during studies and travels, I was always surrounded by a bunch of lovely people… Yeah, one can say I love living in larger communities, exchanging experiences and ideas; sharing and caring - that gives me energy for life.
I always try to view the world with curious eyes, searching for something new, may at be new challenges or new people with interesting perspectives of life… who can show me something new and totally unknown. I truly enjoy losing and finding myself over and over again. What can be better than meeting different people, exploring different countries, learning about different cultures and taking up all the positive things you learn?
I live life pretty much day by day. That's also why I left home in October 2014. Since then I'm traveling around the world… and I'm excited... whatever comes next. I don’t like to plan much ahead and since my time management is terrible anyways I don’t even try ;)
What else can I say about me? Well, I am quite easy going, flexible and very adaptable. Also I am very open minded, social, tolerant and blessed with a good sense of humour... People might say I don’t take life seriously enough but I think I found the right way of living for myself… relax… don’t think too much about what comes next… sit down, have a drink, have a look around you and enjoy the little things, your environment. Also I think it’s important that you can laugh about yourself.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm quite new on Couchsurfing but the experiences I've made so far were awesome. I love the idea of Couchsurfing. It brings people together - it connects. Lucky enough being a human on this planet with a European passport on his hands, allowed to travel the world and go wherever you wish; simply having the freedom of traveling - such a privilege (for the few… unfortunately). Getting to know people all around the world - I try to make the best out of it and Couchsurfing helps me and others to make it easier. As soon as I am back in Germany it will be my biggest pleasure to return the favour by welcoming travellers in my home.
Interests
As I mentioned like kinda thousand times before: I love people - giving and taking. Hanging out, enjoying a few drinks and nice food while having deep discussions about cultural, psychological and astronomical topics, science and life in general until late night. Furthermore, I like events, open air festivals and going out (bars, restaurants etc.). I'm not a good swimmer though but I like pretty much all king of land sports, especially volleyball, basketball and other team sports. I love playing pool, darts or foosball (table soccer) …and card games!! - If you’re looking for a good mate to have a nice round of Poker or Doppelkopf with - heyah, here I am! ;) What else? I love animals (especially dogs) and I like photography
When I am on my own I prefer going for a hike, a long walk on the beach or dong some meditation in a quiet park or forest.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The most amazing thing I've done so far was a long journey through Europe and Asia in 2014/15. My friends and I were travelling in an old Land Rover through Germany, Czech, Slovakia, Poland, Ukraine, Romania, Bulgaria, Turkey, Iran, Pakistan, India, Myanmar and Thailand for nearly half a year before we ended up in Australia.
Teach, Learn, Share
I could teach you how to speak German and Russian and tell you lots of stories and experiences I've made during my travels. Also I can tell you a lot about German, Ukrainian and Lebanese culture and life style.
I love learning from cultural differences and of course I would like improve my English skills, so please never hesitate to correct me whenever I'm wrong ;)
I'm willing to help when and wherever I can and share whatever I have.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I would love to return the favour. You and your friends will be always warmly welcomed to visit me in Germany: stay at my place, get to know my family and friends and let's have a great time together wherever we meet :)
