I am Ali and I am a Ph.D. student at Lugano. I like traveling to new places whenever that I have time.

I like to have fun and spend time with my guest/host. We can do activities that we find interesting. To me an interesting activity is not necessarily something like bungee jumping. Even a cup of tea with a good conversation is interesting. I like to hear your stories about your travels, adventures, life. I like to consider you as my friend and I try to strength our friendship by being warm and respectful.
I know myself as a peaceful person who likes to helps people as much as I can. But also it is easy for me to say no when I feel like it. I am easygoing and chill because having a good time requires that. Especially when you hang out with people from different cultural background.

I enjoy doing following sport activities: Workout, Yoga, Hiking, Swimming, Ping Pong. I am also open to try new things if they are not dangerous.
I have watched a lot of movies and series. Probably we can find something in common to share our thoughts on.
I always appreciate a healthy meal. That’s why I like to cook. Meanwhile I enjoy going to a restaurant and order local dishes.
Recently I started to read amazing books. Sometimes I can get lost in in books for hours. I found myself interested in subjects like Psychology, Economy and Sociology.

I hope we can spend a wonderful time together.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

For me traveling has two sides that I enjoy: First visiting new places (Obviously). Second talking to people and getting to know new ideas and mindsets. Couchsurfing provides a platform that serves for both sides. I believe a surfer and a host can share a unique experience that helps them with their personal growth.

I am fan of Pop and Rock music. Specially 60-80 rock songs. Two of my favorite bands are Pink Floyd and Deep Purple.
I am fan of movies that are closer to reality. I always like to watch a movie with a good stories.
