Overview
About Me
Hi everyone! My name is Ali. I am a student living in England on an exchange program from my university at home. While I am studying in the UK, I am taking full advantage of the traveling opportunity I have in Europe! I have had some incredible travel experiences and look forward to so many more.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Couchsurfing is not only an opportunity to meet locals and experience the true culture of places I hope to visit but it's also a great way to meet people that share similar interests and can share their traveling experiences with you.
Going home after three months of living and traveling Europe made me realize how hard it is to relate stories of your travels and experiences to friends and family who have experienced nothing similar. I find a lot of solitude in talking about traveling and learning from others in this way.
Interests
I love sports, the outdoors, reading, animals, people and staying active (just to name a few).
I enjoy sharing stories of my travels and hearing about other people's experiences and countries I have never seen. I also like experiencing new things and meeting new people.
When I am home I love seeing my friends and family, nannying, being outdoors (whether on the beach, hiking or just in town) and working.
I am constantly busy and like to stay that way!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
So little compared to others but
- hiking around Malta
- brought many homeless people hot meals or groceries
- spent a semester traveling to new countries with some of the best friends I've made
- traveled to Budapest for 5 days on my own (and had the time of my life!)
Teach, Learn, Share
I think one of the best lessons I can help people to learn is about independence. I'm 20, I'm in no way wise, but I do take pride in my hard work and determination. I worked to afford to be at school and to live in England and I saved for every adventure I've been on. I've taken every opportunity to travel that I've been able to, whether my friends are able to accompany or not. This semester I started at a new school and will be doing a lot of traveling solo so I'm looking forward to meeting more people on my travels and hopefully making some incredible friends and lifelong connections!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I love cooking, baking, cleaning and staying busy in anyway I can and I am always happy to help! I look forward to swapping stories through my travels!
