ABOUT ME

I'm a lively software engineer, and no, these things are not mutually exclusive. I love people and to a large extent people love me too :D

Love to travel, duh! And my preferred mode of traveling is train. I have roamed through much of Europe by train.

Love films, cinema, music, books. But unlike most geeks, I'm not into video games.

PHILOSOPHY

The statement that I am about to make seems pretty straight forward, but it takes a very long time till you truly understand and believe it. It doesn't sink in as easily you can read it:

Success is happiness! And a person can only be happy if he/she WANTS to be happy!

If you want to be happy, you are going to be happy, and if you don't then you won't!
I believe in it, and I allow myself to be happy!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have had some wonderful experiences with CS! I have had the pleasure of hosting quite a few surfers and I love it!

I have been hosted in France, Austria, Hungry, Romania, Denmark, the Netherlands and in Turkey
but this list is about EXPLODE since I am on a surfing spreeeeeeeee!

Interests

- I love traveling. I can't really pin point a time of life when I was bit by the bug, I guess I was born with the "fernweh bug" :)
An observation that I made some time ago: the people who have seen the world more, have a very different way of carrying themselves! they talk differently, they walk differently and they even think differently!
I wonder if I have already got that aurora around me yet! but I am certainly after it!

- I love playing Squash and tennis, even though I suck at it :P

- I can play a bit of guitar and piano, but I am not good at it.

last few days I am really into 70's and 80's music!!!
I just can't get enough of "The Who" and as of now, I think there is no better song then: "Teenage Wasteland" by "The Who" in the whole wide world!!!
Otherwise BeeGees are also one of the hottest in my iTunes these days!!
